VILLA BERTHE, "LA HUBLOTIERE" Restoration, Le Vezinet 2013
Villa Berthe, also known as "La Hublotière", was built in 1896 by architect Hector Guimard. The house is built on three levels, each level presenting an original limestone and brick façade on a limestone rock substrate. Our team was responsible for the restoration and interior design of what had become a five-room mansion and engaged in its work to understand and preserve the added value of each of the five previous restoration campaigns.
The restoration first focused on the building envelope and required very meticulous work on masonry, windows and ironwork. The design included work on colors and fabrics for the interior.
